Over the last 5 years, our family has been involved in Self Educate organization in term of monetary donations as well as spending time with the students. What we like about this organization are the transparency in how the money is spent, regular communication with the donors regarding progress of the students, very low administrative and fund-raising costs, thorough screening process, equal opportunity to students regardless of caste or religion, and reinvestment of the loans that are paid-off to help more students. We encourage others to get involved in this satisfying experience.

It is a privilege to know and be part of SelfEducate. We all know that there are millions of kids who could use a helping hand to get a better education, but we do not see them everyday or hear their problems. This organization has stepped in to build a bridge to connect us to those students. Even a small contribution can go a long way to help such kids and thanks to SelfEducate and their volunteers, there is a way to help some of them. One look at their projects (you can see on the website) shows the impact that this organizations and its donors have had consistently. Over some time, I have seen this organization grow and make a larger impact, but the opportunity remains vast. I am thankful to SelfEducate and hope its good work continues and grows.

Helping a deserving student complete the final years of education realizes the dreams of a family and provides a platform for sustenance for several years to come.
